Who is Giovanna?

 

Giovanna Porto is an Italian photographer who lives and works on the French Riviera.
After a twenty-year career in communication, advertising and trade show organization, she chose to transform a passion cultivated since childhood into a professional photography project.

Trained at the European Institute of Design in Turin, her photography stems from the intersection of advertising visual culture and personal exploration. Her work focuses primarily on landscape photography on the one hand, and artistic photography tending more towards minimalism on the other.

Her images respond to a need to create beauty and spaces for contemplation: photographs in which to take refuge, to inhabit, to take with you.

This is why the works are organized into thematic collections and offered in limited editions, even in some cases unique pieces, intended for those who are looking not only for a decorative element, but for a fragment of place, time and the author's vision.
